AMD is delivering 16  core CPUs & Intel has finally released the production version of the Romley series CPUs, that we integrate onto motherboards & turn into servers, so that you can give each VM it's own CPU. Solutions   Servers are being used as the basis for more and more leading edge solutions. Private Cloud storage is a multi nodal storage server solution held together with a clustered file system and file serving software. Virtual Tape Libraries, DeDupe and replication appliances are all just glofified storage servers with the appropriate software. Intel based servers, prepackaged with products from Symantec, Microsoft, Linux, Caringo, Bakbone, VMware, etc., allow you to create cost effective solutions for your specific requirements. Metadata servers for Digital Video Editing & media servers for backup requirements, preloaded with software like Symantec, Sanbolic & Stornext (Quantum's product & Xsan's parent) all require transient hardware. NetApp & Isilon functionality can be delivered using white box servers and products. Our Senior Techs are manufacturer trained to "take 1st call".
